p 14 Call To Register 253-841-5457 Health & Fitness Walking Group/All Ages Join the Daffodil Valley Volkssport Asso- ciation for their weekly walking group. These Wednesday morning walks start at 9am and are non-competitive. Participants walk at their own pace. Many walks can be done with strollers or in wheelchairs. Everyone is welcome! Puyallup Wednesday Runs Join South Sound Running at their down- town Puyallup store every Wednesday at 5:30pm for your choice of either 3 or 6 mile runs. These group runs change each week and maps are available. Post run snacks and beverages are provided. Each time you run, you increase your chances in a raffle for a free pair of shoes! All skill levels welcome! When: Wednesdays, 5:30pm Where: South Sound Running 115 S. Meridian Fee: Free! Mommy/Daddy and Me Jazz Tap Dance Our Mommy/Daddy and Me Jazz Tap Class offers a time for the parent and child to bond and learn together. The child can be accompanied by Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt, etc. The class will consist of a warm-up, followed by progressions across the floor, finishing with a dance combination. All with different styles of old and new popular music. Basic dance steps are introduced in a fun, friendly, and posi - tive manner. FUN-FUN-FUN for Everyone! Instructor: Ilauna Gamlieli Ages: 5-10 When: Tuesdays, September 4-October 9, 6-7pm Tuesdays, October 23-November 27, 6-7pm Where: PRC/CENT Fee: $72 Resident Discount: $60 Beginning Adult Tap Dance With a casual dress code and moderate pace, adult classes are great for those who danced years ago or who are starting for the first time. Tap shoes are recommended but a hard soled shoe that will make noise on a hard wood floor will work as well. The class will start with the basics and gradually work up to more intricate, rhythmic footwork. Danc - ing is a fun, enjoyable form of exercise and is a great way to burn a few extra calories, develop muscle tone, and make new friends! Instructor: Ilauna Gamlieli Ages: Adults When: Tuesdays, September 4-October 9, 7-8pm Tuesdays, October 23-November 27, 7-8pm Where: PRC/CENT Fee: $72 Resident Discount: $60 Tai Chi Tai Chis is recognized for its great pow- ers instilling and maintaining good health and fitness in people of all ages. Regular practice prevents the onset of illness and can prove effective in the treatment of common ailments and debilitating condi- tions. Tai Chi is practiced slowly so this art is suitable for everyone. Come try it out! Instructor: Ronny Llanos When: Thursdays, 5:30-6:30pm Where: PAC/Multi Fee: $20/month
