p 14 Call To Register 253-841-5457 Health & Fitness Walking Group/All Ages Join the Daffodil Valley Volkssport Associa- tion for their weekly walking group. These Wednesday morning walks start at 9am and are non-competitive. Participants walk at their own pace. Many walks can be done with strollers or in wheelchairs. Everyone is welcome! Puyallup Wednesday Runs Join South Sound Running at their down- town Puyallup store every Wednesday at 5:30pm for your choice of either 3 or 6 mile runs. These group runs change each week and maps are available. Post run snacks and beverages are provided. Each time you run, you increase your chances in a raffle for a free pair of shoes! All skill levels welcome! When: Wednesdays, 5:30pm Where: South Sound Running 115 S. Meridian Fee: Free! Tai Chi Tai Chi is recognized for its great powers instilling and maintaining good health and fitness in people of all ages. Regular prac- tice prevents the onset of illness and can prove effective in the treatment of com- mon ailments and debilitating conditions. Tai Chi is practiced slowly so this art is suitable for everyone. Come try it out! Instructor: Ronny Llanos When: Thursdays, 5:30-6:30pm Where: PAC/Multi Fee: $20/month Circuit Weight Training Try out this circuit class using the weight machines in the Puyallup Recreation Center weight room. A pre-planned rotation of machines on a set time schedule that rotates at set intervals will get your muscles activated, con- fused, and working strong! Members, this class is free to you! Not a member, pay the weight room drop-in and give it a shot! Ages: 15-Adult When: Mondays and Wednesdays, Weekly 7-7:50pm Where: PRC/Weight Room Fee: Free with Gym Memberships $5 Drop-In Fitness Boot Camp Get your body in gear with this high in- tensity interval training program that fo- cuses on using your body weight as your main resistance. Different exercises will come at you quickly. This program will jump start your fitness routine quickly! Members, this class is free to you! Not a member, pay the weight room drop-in and give it a shot!
